Pró-carnivoros

Since its founding in 1997, PremieR Pet has the compromise of helping to preserve the Brazilian fauna. Part of our sales is destined to the non-governmental organization Pró-Carnívoros, affined to IBAMA.

Pró-carnívoros main projects are:

• To promote research projects for finding cientific informations needed to the application of management and conservation strategies;
• To perform environmental education;
• To act in animal management activities;
• To advice the population as to problems related to carnivore mammal predation over pets;
• To promote the identification, creation and management of conservation areas;
• To work for the improvement of the workforce specialized in biology, management and conservation of natural predators;
• To act in public policies.

Guide Dogs for the Blind Project

The Instituto de Integração Social e Promoção da Cidadania (Social Integration and Citizenship Promotion Institute – INTEGRA), located in the city of Brasília, is responsible for the development and fulfillment of the “Projeto Cão-Guia Cego” (Guide Dogs for the Blind Project), a work pioneer in Brazil that trains dogs to act as guides for visually impaired people, this way improving their life quality. Most of the dogs are Retriever dogs, and PremieR Pet, in partnership with this noble project, is proud of feeding the dogs with PremieR Labrador (PremieR Retriever) since they are little puppies and during all of their relationship with their owners.
