PremieR Clinical Nutrition Obesity for Dogs is an auxiliary food in the treatment of obesity for medium-sized and large dogs. In addition to the treatment prescribed by the veterinarian, the alteration in feeding is the main factor in treating obesity. The objectives of the diet are: promoting effective and healthy weight loss, with the maintenance of lean body mass and joint support. For obesity, this food must be used with the guidance of a professional until the animal reaches its ideal weight.

Instructions for use:
ATTENTION: The recommendation for daily consumption was calculated to promote the loss of weight, starting from the CURRENT WEIGHT of the pet.
- The ideal loss of weight should not exceed the rate of 1 to 2% per week. In case the loss of weight is 0.5% or more than 2%, it is recommended that the daily amount be respectively reduced or increased in 10%.
- It is recommended that the weight of the pet be monitored weekly or fortnightly.
- For better results, it is recommended that the daily portion be weighed and split into 2 or more servings.
- Once the ideal body weight is reached, the transition should be made to a maintenance food with a moderate rate of calories.
- This food can be served dry or rehydrated. To rehydrate, add 3 parts of the dry product to 1 part of warm, drinkable water, mix and wait 2 - 3 minutes for better absorption of water. In this case, it is recommended that the leftovers be discarded within 30 minutes after rehydration.
